I have 22k on my Kat. Recently the transmission began acting funny.i.e buzzing noise when changing gears. I decided to replace the fluid. Dropped the pan and found contaminated. My question is how do YOU Drain the excess fluid in the torque Converter?
I tried cycling the gears but little fluid came out.

You have to either remove the transmission and take off the convertor, or, fill back up the trans after draining, drive it a few miles, drain again and repeat several times.
Why do think the fluid is contaminated? Where there metal particles on the magnets? What color was the fluid? Was it burnt?
The contaminated fluid is not the cause of the transmission's problem, it is a symptom of it.

Contaminated fluid would be a result of a failure. If you have metal filings in there, prepare to bend over and take it without lube.

At 22K that's really early for tranny failure!!! How long you hand the car?
