I've spent the last two days reading and searching on the forum, and haven't come across a post that mirrors my noise, But I certainly might have overlooked something.

Starting the car in cold weather I'll get a clicking, or rattling sound from what seems to be the passenger footwell area. Like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle type of repetitive sound. It only happens once in every 50 start-ups, if that often. I can turn the car off and restart and the noise is gone. Is this the location of an evap. canister and/or valve and plumbing ?

A/C is off, heater is off, i.e. no fan. Radio off, no CD's in player except the Nav. CD (but I actually haven't opened it up yet.
