2003 XK8 swapped trans now P0610 code. Now what, can the TCM from the orginal trans be swapped to the replacement trans to solve this. Any other resolutions.

Do you have access to WDS?



I wonder if swopping the TCM would need the 'adaptations reset' performed anyway, since it will have learnt from the old transmission?

Hopefully someone with trans experience will jump in here

 

@machaelh tks yelp most likely but over time it should still relearn. Don't have IDS which is the problem.
