Default 2003 XKR wiper arm

Greetings,
My 03 XKR wiper arm is loose. The knurling inside the wiper arm is stripped (cheap casting). The knurling on the drive is fine. Short of paying the exorbitant price for the OEM replacement import or taking the risk with eBay, does anyone have an idea for a fix?

You could try applying a thin layer of epoxy glue all around the threads of the wiper arm. Allow it to cure for at least 24 hours, then carefully shove it down on the wiper pivot bolt and secure it with the retaining nut. That may hold it for awhile....

Welcome to the forums oregonXKR,

Not exactly a regular issue. However, I wouldn't be worried about fitting a used wiper arm. The condition is easily checked.
