2003 XKR - Is your "x-pipe" symmetric? And look how clean my underbelly is (2003)
I was about to install a forward "X-pipe" section of my exhaust with one from Moss and it is symmetric left to right - both legs going forward towards the cats are short with slip couplings. I looked at other brands too and they seem to follow the same general design.
Unfortunately, I got under my car just now and it seems that the right side goes all the way to the cat bolt flange, while the left side seems to match up with the pipe I bought. I just got the car this fall but it doesn't look welded or monkeyed around with at all - seems super clean very well cared for.
Soo..... what do you all have under yours?
Here's a pic of mine, plus a few more pics just to show off how clean it is underneath. What a pleasure to work on when you can break free all the 23yr old exhaust clamps with a 3/8 ratchet on the first try still lying comfortably on the creeper, without penantrant. I'm in the northeast US and the only times my cars have ever been in this condition, they were still under warranty so I didn't work on them. 2 peice on left - one long run on right.
