2004 xk8 armrest refurbish.

The armrest on my 2004 xk8 is showing some wear, it looks like whatever padding is in there has colapsed. Has any one uncovered the armrest and replaced the padding. Any hints or suggestions before I start appreciated.

Had mine completly rebuilt

Hated the cup holders (the word "holder" is really optimistic) and searched for an alternative.

I got the cup holders from this guy: Replacement Billet Beverage Holder for Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky and Opel. | Santanainteriors.com

And then had an Uphostery shop redesign the arm rest. These hold Starbucks cups perfectly.
