Question 2004 XK8 Convertible

2004 XK8 Convertible -Convertible top comes up slowly then stops about 2 inches from latch. I let my finger off button then push the button again it will then close. I'm still having trouble with my radio when it is on AM channels I get a constant clicking noise. I'm also having a recurring problem with the airbag light staying on. I have taken it back to the dealer several times but the light keeps coming back on. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Have you checked the fluid level of the top pump? Is the petcock on the pump turned fully clockwise?

2. For the radio, find the braided wire ground at the power antenna, remove it and clean the lug and connection point with fine sandpaper.

3. For the airbag, when you start the car the fault light should blink, then pause. Count the blinks up to the pause. Then count the 2nd set of blinks. Post those two counts in the correct order. This is a fault code.

Just my experience with the air bag light...

If it stays on steady, never blinks, it could be the fuse blowing. Does the shop say they are replacing a fuse? My issue was when the drivers seat would move forward the fuse would blow, I pulled the seat inspected and secured all wiring and have never had the problem again. It's the top left fuse in the drivers side fuse box.
