Default 2004 XKR Headlight Leveling Linkage

Does anyone know where I can get the linkage to connect the headlight leveling switch to the lower bracket for a 2004 XKR? I can't seem to find the linkage as a separate part. US sources would be good but any source would help. If this question has been asked before, I couldn't find in the posts. Thanks for any help.

Linkage is number 1

If you cannot find one as a standalone part, a good metal shop may be able to fabricate one for you out of an appropriately-sized sway bar end link (which that part in the above drawing surely looks like)....

Hi jurczak1
It's one of those "You will have to buy the whole item, sir. That part is not available separately"...

Member PKWise managed to engineer a replacement. It's for the rear, but I imagine that something similar would work at the front:

or you might find one in a breaker's yard.

Thanks, Jon89, that's a good idea. It is much smaller than a sway bar, but I think I could make something that can do the job if I can't buy a replacement part.

Does anyone have the measurements of the linkage from center of ball to center of ball or a drawing of the part? The repair manual doesn't show the linkage and I don't have the original part.

Thanks, michaelh. I actually have a second rear one. I accidentally ordered it thinking it was the front one. I'll try and cobble one up and hopefully I can make it work.

- as per michaelh mentioned - I lost same link on rear and couldn't get a replacement either. Ended up buying mini Rose joints instead (stainless).

I finally inspected mine today. I didn't just loose the linkage, I also lost the plastic linkage to the sensor. I rotated it by hand and the sensor still works. It was in the highest position that must be why I couldn't see very well at night. I set it to its lowest position. I think I will have to order the entire sensor. Or maybe I can come up with some solution...
