Default 2005 XKR Convertible with 8.5K miles for sale

I was at Heritage Jaguar (Freeport, NY) this morning to service my XKR and, while waiting for the car, I couldn't help but notice a beautiful, shiny 2005 XKR Convertible sitting on the showroom floor, right next to the new F-Type. To my amazement the car has only 8,500 miles on it. The price , you ask? $35K The car looks brand spanking new, really. The black leather seats look fresh, as if they belong to a 2014 F-type standing right next to it. I took a few shots with my phone, in case anyone is interested. Personally, I feel that a nine year old car should have at least 50,000+ miles on it, but there are many members on this fine forum who goo-goo and ga-ga over low mileage cars.

Dealer Info:
Heritage Jaguar of Freeport
146 W Sunrise Hwy Freeport, NY 11520

Hmm... The forum editor is not allowing me to upload PICs
Sorry, no pictures due to technical difficulties

It's pretty alright, and always fun to see something in that good of shape with such low miles, but they'll be lucky to get thirty for it I'd bet.

Chris,

I agree with you 100%. If they get 27K, it will be good. A low miles car from 2005 demands quite a lot of service - expensive service. Even then, one never knows how it will react to being driven. It may start popping gaskets or blowing fuses - you can never know. But, it sure looks good.

I have multiple jags with low miles. One 05 with 9,000 miles xj and one 01 xkr with 6,700 miles. Had alot of service done. They both seem to drive fine. I wouldn't be worried about not being driven, as long as it was serviced from new. But 36k is a bit pricey.
