Purchased one in January of 2011 for $307 USD including shipping.
Installation was a snap. Had to drill only one hole in a hidden location. Instructions were a bit difficult to decipher but manageable.
My level of wrenching is pretty basic.
It is effective, noticeably reducing the back-draft wind in the cockpit but not completely eliminating it. I wouldn't suppose any screen would.
It fits against the convertible top and the back of the rear seat perfectly. Easy to remove with two knurled bolts. Stores in the boot nicely as well. Believe it or not, once in a while I do transport wee people or a small dog in the back, necessitating the screen's removal.
My rear window is heavily tinted (Arizona you know) and with the screen in place, things get very dark in the rear view mirror.

I bought one back in April for my UK convertible and agree with beg3yrs adding that the fitting instructions are photographs not diagrams & are crap.
It does a fair job of reducing the air flow below 50MPH but is pretty crap above that, probably worth doing the mod of fitting a switch to manually raise the rear windows to further reduce air flow.

I really ended up getting my wind deflector (used from someone on the forum) mainly for looks and less for reducing air flow. I had just noticed that recent models of convertibles by Mercedes, BMW, etc. all featured some kind of wind deflector de rigueur so I just wanted to be in the "club". The deflector does provide some negligible reduction of wind but probably a hat would be more effective. But really if wind in your hair is a huge concern, you shouldn't be looking at convertibles.

By the way a couple of things. When I was first looking at these cars and took a few test drives, I was surprised at how well the design of the windshield (I guess) held back the wind--at least at street driving speeds. I had a Corvette coupe with a removable targa top and wind turbulence was much worse in the cabin than in my Jaguar convertible.
Second--I would recommend folding the deflector down when the top is up. This is very easy to do and moving it out of sight will provide better rear mirror vision.
