I am Aram, a very senior old car lover from suburban Philadelphia. My 2006 XK8 is a triple black convertible driven 60,000 miles, VIN SW8310K975AA. My vehicle problems started when I received a PECUS E message. Unfortunately, the manual did not address the particular message. Eventually, I learned that it was necessary to find someone who had the software required to reprogram the computer in a car of its age. None of the several dealerships in my area were of help (and frankly, not interested in helping). Eventually, an agency 50 miles away claimed they had the necessary software. To be safe, the car was flat bedded to them but after a month of sporadic effort, they gave up. I hope someone will have a recommendation of a dealer or independent shop within a reasonable distance of Philadelphia that might have what's required..
