2k XK8 NUMBER PLATE LIGHT
License plate lamps - left one works, right doesn’t...
Removing the cover was easy enough (despite the manual advising the dealer has the correct tool and I should take it to Memphis)
BUT
How do you get the bulb out?
Is it a bayonet socket, screw in, or does it just pull out?
Or is there some “trick” I’m missing?

Thanks Jimmy
I couldn’t move the bulb and was afraid I’d break it causing more problems.
Knowing they pull out instead of twisting did the trick.
A little good old electrical tape on it and it came right out...
The bulbs are # 2825
The *special tool* is a small blade slotted screwdriver.
