98 Jaguar xk8 Window problems
The drivers side window will drop 4 to 5 inches upon opening the door (not the normal 1/2 inch). If you close it, it will not move up at all. If you open it again, it will drop another 4 inches. While the car is running, if you hit up or down button, it will only move up 4 inches or down 4 inches and stop. The passenger window works as it should. I tried reprogramming but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Take your car to an auto parts store that will do a charging system/battery test for free. Sounds like a failing battery even though the other window works.
The window motors draw a lot of current, as in a 30A fuse, and the driver window may be binding some. Next will be a door panel removal and check for loose bolts or rivets.
