98 XK8 Tail lights out but fuse not blown

Default 98 XK8 Tail lights out but fuse not blown

98 xk8 has tail lights out but fuses not blown. Also the rear side markers are out. Brake lights still work as well as head lights and front side markers. What could be the problem? My last idea is the bulbs, but how unlikely they all go at same time?

check the light bulbs but also check the connector to the tail light assembly for any charring - usually the ground lead - many good threads on how to fix

This is a common problem. It is probably a melted/worn ground in the taillight assembly connector. See this thread for the solution:

Thanks XKR and Brutal. In process right now. Would I be able to identify the burnt or melted ground wire if that's the case? Also on the last pic of the post u linked me too, where do I attach the newly soldered ground wire that was dangling and was there a special piece on the end of the dangling side. Couldn't zoom on the pic to get good look. Thanks in advance guys.
