Default 99 XK8 oil pump replacement...

I have heard that there's little to no clearance on the oil pan in order to replace an oil pump.

Certain body braces that need to be taken off?

If anyone can direct me to the proper procedure, that would be greatly appreciated, as I can't find anything here on the forum nor YouTube.

Thanks in advance!

The JTIS procedure is detailed in the following section:

JTIS - XK8 Oil Pump.pdf

This refers to the following sections:

JTIS - XK8 Camshaft Inner Sprocket.pdf

JTIS - XK8 Primary Timing Chain LH.pdf

I'm sure members who have replaced the oil pump will have some shortcuts.

Graham

Thanks Graham!

Boy...the longer I have this car, the less I seem to know about them.

I assumed the oil pump would be located in the oil sump pan.
