The trunk lid cylinders are shot. Can they be rebuilt or is there a good product out there to replace them with. They wont stay up (have to use a piece of wood to keep it up) and it really slams down when closing.

Roockauto.com has them for less than 1/2 the dealer price. Look them up under year 2000, 1999 is missing from their listing, but is the same according to the Jag parts catalog.

Also note that the coupe and convertible are different.
