Default ABS light on

getting C1107 and C1137, can anybody tell me what these codes are?

About 2 weeks after doing my rear brakes, the ABS/Traction control light started coming on as soon as I start the car. Used to get one every 2-3 weeks.

This should help

The C1107 is not listed but it stands for ABS function enabled input circuit failure

So where can I get a new control module for the ABS. I see rebuild kits, but they seem to be for a specific problem and not a complete rebuild.

Also, could it be the harness itself?

Try automotix.net or autopartsfair.com to look for a used one, I don't think you want to pay the price for a new one.

I sent mine out for repair twice. If the problem is C 1095 they can fix it by resoldering the contacts, but so can we. My other problems were never fixed, and on the last attempt the module stopped communicating with the ECU, which made it look like it was working, but the cruse control would not function. Replacing it with a used module solved the problem, although I had to fix a C1095 issue myself. But the vendor refunded my purchase price because of the code.

I have talked to a guy who rebuilds them and he was the one that suggested I get a used one and to check the harness.

No C1095, just the 2 codes I listed in my first post.

I think that is good advice. As I mentioned, you may have to resolder the pump connection, but that's easy. The junk yards don't test the modules before they sell them, and that's the most common fault.

Replace it with a new or used or just make repairs the choice is yours but whatever you do get one that is a match for your car.

spoke to soon, got the 1137 back, so I am guessing I have a wiring issue. Go figure!!

The other thing the car is doing and has since I have had it, is that at low speeds the front right brake will lockup for just a second. Always under 10 mph, pretty sure it is not related, but wanted to throw it out there.

Any known ABS wiring issues at the module connector?

BTW: replaced pump at same time I replaced the module.

Could you check your codes again and list them as "P" or "C"
