Default ABS light, module update, light still on

A while back I posted about my ABS module crapping out. Used the guy on Ebay and got it rebuilt as it was worse than the solder fix. Fixed the issue but then had the high pressure oil cooler hose blow and bought 2 new ones and fixed that. Then a day later the car started leaking oil again, badly and found that the mechanic didnt have the O ring lined up right, sliced it and the hose wasnt seated correctly so it was leaking but then got that fixed.........whew.

Anyway, in the end I got all the lights to go off after just fixing the module but now, after fixing the hoses twice, upon hitting the brakes for the first time the ABS, NO ASC,No TRC and yellow dash light came back on.

After a hard reset same thing. Sitting it overnight, same thing. First time in the car, start it and no lights then when you apply the brakes and the ABS light an NO ASC/TRC lights come on.

I also noticed recently the pedal is softer than normal but the unit is full of the correct fluid. Im thinking he didnt bleed it correctly.

My simple question is, can not being properly bled cause this ?

Can you get a scan to read codes? This will pinpoint the fault.

I had my module rebuilt and bled the brakes about a week later. I didn't get any warnings during that week.

Without having any codes and your mishap with the oil line I would venture to say that when the hose was replaced your ABS wiring to one of the wheels or to the ABS unit was compromised. This is assuming that the ABS light was not on prior to your oil leak. Have them go back and check it for you. You indicate that the pedal is soft and that is a good indication of air or another problem I would get them to check it. I would also suggest checking the brake fluid level at the same time.
