Thanks Vern. The JCNA collection is at Coventry West and I'm a member, but it's fifty miles away and I thought maybe I could find someone closer.
I'm also tempted to take the uprights and bearings to Wizard Automotive here in Douglasville and save myself the aggravation of fighting with the rings and bearings. My car is rust free but I expect the rings will still be hard to break loose.

Just a thought, although I doubt it is a surprise:- Jaguar under-specced our bearings and changed them from 99+
If you can get hold of a pair of hub carriers from a later model cheap* you could refurb and then do a straight swop = less down time?

$20 more got me the 325mm caliper brackets.
I just did my bearing/brakes a year ago, but likely can't help myself upgrading to 13" brakes, because it was so cheap (and now I have the tool and the press).
Given that the OEM sensors are north of $200 each
I'd be smiling at that particular pull 
That will be the path I'll follow when my fronts let go - which they will.

As far as I can tell, my originals lasted 98K mi. My expected use is in the area of 2K mi/yr. and the replacement bearing is a Ford Winstar part costing less than $20 ea.
If I could find a set of later uprights with good bearings for less than $100 I would do so, but my budget is seriously constrained due to dental expenses and I have to take lowest cost route.
I know- sell the Maserati, and I'm considering that, but every time I start the engine...............

Well I did have to stop off at Harbor Freight on the way to the junk yard to buy a 4lb hammer to smack the balljoints apart. That was another $10.
There is no more satisfying sound than a balljoint popping loose.
My local yard crushed 3 XJ8's in the last week. If I knew they were going to crush them I would have pulled more parts off of them. The 2002 XJ8 had a lot of good parts left.
