Default AC blows warm when engine hot

Hi all, I have been having issues with the heater / AC on my car (98 XK8) since I bought it (no heat etc.) and have checked pretty much all components over the last couple of years, I currently have an issue with the AC not blowing cold air - it is cool until the engine warms up, I had the system re-gassed last week and showed no leaks. I have a feeling that the blend door is letting some heat past from the matrix.. Has anybody checked, fixed or replaced one of these? Not sure how to go about accessing it!
Thanks in advance

I am having the same problem. It's definitely not the AC. I've noticed that with the top down and the AC off the air vents start blowing hot air as the engine heats up. With the AC on it's cooler but the AC is definitely fighting some hot air.

My guess is the blend door also. Hopefully some sage on the forum here can give advice.
