Hi I have just got a 2004 xkr convertible and after a week it's giving me some problems.
At first acc not available would come on every journey but would work before the message. Two days ago it went into fail safe mode which reset after turning it off then on again. It did it again today and won't clear.
If anyone has any ideas what this could be it would be appreciated.

You mentioned in your Intro the XKR has only 14K miles which is very low for a UK vehicle.

Apart from thriving on being used, they are very sensitive to battery condition and a failing one can throw up all kinds of electrical faults.

?? What is ACC? Adaptive cruise control? I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this system works, because I have no idea what sensor(s) it uses, or how it knows the car i'm overtaking n the adjoining lane ahead of me isn't in my way and inevitably going to crash into it when we both are in a sweeping turn.
