access to trunk ? and body shop
Just got rear ended and cant open trunk. Can I enter from inside, after removing the rear seats. Is using the Jaguar dealer's body shop for repair the best shop to use for the repair? Thanks!

Mick, I think you will find there is a gas tank behind the seat. Sorry you got hit and if someone else is paying, I would go with the Jaguar Dealer, if they have a good reputation. They may have to rip up you trunk lid.

Very easy way, especially if your right (US passenger side) rear taillight is damaged anyway is to just smash the right plastic taillight and remove it. Behind it you will find the solenoid that operates the trunk latch.

You can NOT access the luggage compartment from behind the rear seat because of the bulkhead and the fuel tank.
Posting pics of the damage could get you some good advice from those who have previously suffered similar damage.
