Default Active suspension gone stiff

Hi,
This is my first thread here at Jaguarforums.

I have had quite a bit of problems with my 1997 XK8 over the years and usually found some good advice here on the forum, but this time I have not managed to find a "perfect" thread.

I have a problem with my active suspension, it is constantly stiff.

I have checked the fuses, and they are ok.
I have no faulty codes or lights.
What would be the next step?

Hoping for help
Best regards
Daniel

It seems to me that I recall from other posts (from those that want to be able to Switch Off the CATS Function):

If you disconnect the Power from the Cats Control Module, the Suspension will remain in Stiff Mode with no trouble codes.

Thanks, that might make sense!
I re-wired the right rear light this winter as there was something wrong with the wiring, and I throw away the non-functioning Parking Distance Warning System.

I might have disconnected something then that is needed for the active suspension box.

I will take a look at that tomorrow.
By the way, my 1997 Jag XK8 is BRG coupe' and the same wheels as in your picture.

It has been a while, and many problems have come and gone on my XK8, but the stiff suspension is still there.
I have been looking through the forum today, and found a thread where there was a connection between the ABS module and possible CATS issues.
I have had the ABS module renovated, could that have any connection to my stiff CATS suspension?
