adaptive control shocks
The fitment is the same, so no problems there.
You will have to unplug the CATS control box in the rear tire well to keep from getting an error on the dash but that is all there is to it.

How do the standard shocks feel compared to the CATS in normal and active mode.
I have to say that on my CATS system the ride feels very hard at all times and the switch between modes is not at all noticeable to me.

If you disconnect the controller in the boot, that will put the car permenantly in firm mode, and you can definitely tell the difference. To me it is firm to the point of being unpleasant for normal driving.
The system starts off firm and the controller has to apply voltage to the solenoids to make it soft. Since the ride is really hard, have you checked that there isn't something wrong with the control and it's stuck in firm all the time?
