Adhesive Sealant Recommendations?
Hey Lads,
My aftermarket tail lights were originally held in place with some sort of adhesive sealant. I obviously do not know what was used originally but the stuff was very good at holding the assemblies in place.
I now have to replace mine after pulling them out for servicing and was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a seriously good product that will hold these things in place?
Commercially available stuff of course, I don't want to have to go ordering stuff in if I can avoid it.
The original stuff was grey in color and I need to stick with that. Can't risk using black in case there is some oozing

You might try some JB weld, "minute weld". It dries clear and comes in a double syringe package. I used it to glue on my inside third brake light and it has held fine for several months, even in some high heat.
Was hoping to find some sort of flexible adhesive that I could cut out later if needed.

Not sure if you can get it in the US, but Tiger Seal is brilliant stuff - sticks like s*** to a shovel, but can be cut out if eventually necessary.
Both black and white are available.
Otherwise, any polyurethane sealant should be OK
