After Market amp over heating
Hello all, I have a new problem. My alternator went bad and I had it rebuilt by the local electrical shop up the road. I could "hear" it was bad. I got the car back and my voltage is fine but my amps still over heat. I've tried two different ones and I know they both cannot be bad. I've also went over the wiring and made sure my ground wasn't on paint and I still have over heating issues. My voltage doesn't drain when my speakers hit but I have noticed it drop down some when the aux fans come on? Any suggestions? the voltage in the wires going to the amp has been testEd as well and all is ok. Thanks Joel
Ps amp is 15001bd fosgate pushing two jl12w3v3 subs. Have a Hifonics Brutus 16001.d that gets hot as well. Wired for two ohm and both amps are one ohm stable.

No I have a zero gauge from the battery to a 100amp anl fuseblock to an extra optima battery and then I have zero gauge ground for that battery and 4 gauge for the amp. Sorry I forgot to add that. That's why I'm stumped. It's more than enough than it needs because I had this same setup with 4 12s in my Lexus at one ohm. It had a 100 amp alternator too.
