Default After the tensioners

Finished my tensioners today, both had cracks about an inch long.
I ordered some new spark plugs, just waiting for those to finish up.
The question is, is it safe to start the engine before the tensioners are filled with oil, or should I crank it some without starting to build up oil pressure?
Thanks!
Jack

It would be a good idea to pull the fuel injection fuse and crank it until oil pressure builds up before starting it.

Mine were both collapsed, when I changed them out, so I started the engine. It quieted down after about a second. Removing the fuse seems like a good idea though......

When I did my tensioners I just turned the car over for a few seconds a couple of times before I put the coil packs back on the plugs... no problems...
