hi im trying to install a dvd/tv radio in my 02 xkr w/premium alpine system and having no luck as to finding a adapter for the car, ive looked on the forum for wire diagram but not really good with reading those things i really need some help with this project as i dont want to fry anything in the car and ive sen some awesome pics of aftermarket radios in a couple pics here but im from michigan and cant seem to find anyone with the smarts to wire this unit in, or that i would trust to do it. the radio in the car sucks so bad sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt dont know why jag would put a cheap system in a car that cost as much as they did new. ANY HELP OUT THERE PLEASE I CANT TAKE LISTENING TO THE WIND ON LONG DRIVES

 

Have you checked the local automobile audio shops?

You should try to find an independent audio shop...not a chain like Best Buy.

 

ive checked almost every place in michigan and everyone says the same thing have to re wire whole car which i think is rediculous and a price of 400 i can do it myself but i dont want to re wire the whole car please any one out there that has an aftermarket radio in a 02 with premium system send me a link or pics of how its done ready to shoot the dam radio right in the cassette face
