Default aftermarket wheels.

hi guys,

im thinking of changing the wheels o my xkr .

I currently have the facelift multispoke 19s and I quite like the wheels but I hate the horrible offset. they sit soo far in the arch it makes the car look a little "feeble" imho.

ive toyed with the idea of spacers but im not a big fan of them so I thinking new wheels are the way forward.

so what id like to know is what fitment do I need to be looking for . what is the spigot size and what off sets would I need to get a flusher fit with the arches.

id idealy like to stay 19" and I want them the be the correct 5x120.65 as I know many people fit normal 5x120 .

all help and pics appreciated

The 18s (and 19s) are:
18x9x35mm rear
18x8x33mm front

The OEM 20" wheels are wider and the offsets are different:
20x10x18mm rear
20x9x25mm front

If you stick to that range there shouldn't be any fitments problems. A few members haven't 10.5" on the rear, and they can fit is you are very careful with the offset but it is quite close.

As you say, the bolt circle is 5x120.65 and the center bore is 74.1mm.

They are hub centric wheels so the center bore is the most important number, which is why you can get away with a 120mm wheel as long as you stick with the flat style nuts. Do not use the acorn type on these cars.

If you check places like CarID or ElementWheels there are a fair number of options.

I think most use adapter rings to get to the correct hub size, there aren't as many that are bored to 74.1 as standard.
