Default aftermarket wheels offset and center bore

Hi, 98 XK8 here. Looking at some aftermarket wheels, and need some advice. The set I am looking at is 20x10.5 rear and 20x9 front, with offset andcenter bore made to order. What is the least offset I can use to push the wheels out as wide as they can go without rubbing?

Also, I have always thought our center bore was 74.1mm. However, I am seeing all sorts of measurements on the forum: 73.9, 74.0, 73.1, etc. Does anyone know the actual hub bore?

Go to this site PCD jaguar xk8 wheels | PCD, Offset, Center Bore, mounting and tire size data . Measure what you have now, and add to the off set numbers, or go to a tire store, where the technicians know how to do this......Good luck.....Mike

Here's a good site for rim and tire comparisons though not vehicle specific.

Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

My 03 has 73.8 hubs as measured on the stock wheels.

Thanks for the quick replies. I do know how to calculate offset, I was just in a rush typing the last post and wrote "offset" instead of "hub bore". So it looks like the commonly quoted 73.9mm is probably the most accurate measurement.

What I was actually really looking for was someone who has figured out the maximum wheel width/offset combo that sticks out the farthest without rubbing or having to resort to fender rolling.

Did you figure this out? What wheel dimensions did you go with?
