Aftermarker cd changers won't work as far as I know. It has to be a Jaguar CD changer with the Jag electronic signal that communicates to the head unit that it is Jag OE....

Default Changer

But can an existing Jag CD changer be made to work with a newer head unit? I've got an Alpine with a CD changer jack, but it is a lot different than the prehistoric 1997 cable coming from the stock unit. Wouldn't mind getting an adapter to make it all come together if possible.

Thoughts?
