ai-net adapter for Factory Installed Cable
I have a 1999 xk8 convertable without a cd Changer. So I bought a nice new cha-s634 cd changer. Hooked it up to the Factory AI-Net cable in the trunk, watched it power up. Now the rub, No display on the radio, no sound or control of the cd changer. I figure the wiring on the Factory AI-Net is different than the new Alpine AI-Net cable. Does anyone know of an adapterthat would match up the signals correctly or does anyone have the pin assignments for the Factory side. I have the pin assignments for the new changer. Appreciate any help. I can always build my own with the pin assignments. JW

Changer
But can an existing Jag CD changer be made to work with a newer head unit? I've got an Alpine with a CD changer jack, but it is a lot different than the prehistoric 1997 cable coming from the stock unit. Wouldn't mind getting an adapter to make it all come together if possible.
