Air bag dash light - RESOLVED

Air bag dash light - RESOLVED
Greetings gang, and happy new year to all!
Before I bought my 1999 XK8, it had a front end collision in which the air bags deployed.
The Jag enthusiast who did the repairs replaced both air bags (steering wheel and driver's dash).
When I bought it from him, he mentioned that he never took the car to the Jaguar dealership to have them reset it with their scanner, as most off the shelf scanners don't have the ability to reset this.
The blink code I currently get is 44, (I know, I know...the blinking code is not known to be all that reliable), and that states the passenger side impact sensor is the issue.
I did some searching on the forum, but I can't find any drawing or information as to exactly where the sensor is located.
I would like to explore replacing the sensor before I go to the cost of having the dealership reset it or having to buy a better scanner that can reset it.
Just hoping this might fix it without even having to reset it.
So, any help to find the location would be appreciated, and if anyone has some wise words as to what other areas might be causing the light to stay on, that would also be appreciated.
You Guys (and Gals) ROCK!

I posted this link a bit earlier today, it contains pinpoint tests for every SRS code. The 2005 Mustang happens to use the exact same SRS system as our jags, and the diagnosis and repair guidelines look to be a 100% match.
Check page 82 of this document, "Pinpoint Test M" and forwards, which is dealing with 42,43 and 44 airbag codes.

Thanks Azeteg...valuable stuff!
XKRacer, thank you also...but I really don't know exactly what I am looking for.
Does anyone have a picture of the impact sensor?
Also, is it accessible from the engine compartment or underneath?
Mounted on an interior fender well or the frame?
I just need a little more guidance from you experts.
Many Thanks!

The 'goofball' who resurrected this XK8 from a light front-end collision (before I purchased it) actually 'taped' the two front impact sensors to the 'X' brace right in front of the radiatior...thus no grounding. That's why my air bag warning light was always on.
Brad Sprowls 'bsprowls' was great and sent me a factory drawing of the actual location of both sensors.
Now they are in the right position and well grounded...and NO MORE YELLOW AIR BAG LIGHT NAGGING ME ANYMORE!
Thanks to all!
