Default Air Conditioner runs warm

Got a 2006 XK8 that blows warm air from A/C in park or standing traffic. Immediately the temp gauge starts to rise towards hot. No problem when driving. Fans work properly, new thermostat and water pump. Suggestions or experience?

Might just need refrigerant/gas topping up.

You can try running the Climate control internal diagnostics and see if that gives any answers.

See here for how to and codes:

More than likley, the fans are not working properly. This symptom is that of a failed cooling fan control module, I know, I just had the same symptoms.

Not before the tstat but the water pump was the initial resolution; however, it apparently hasn't solved the issue.
