Hi,

Yesterday whilst on a long drive my airbag warning light flickered and then flashed and came on full time.

This morning, the sequence of flashes is as follows:

1 flash, then a pause, then 6 flashes in quick succession.

It repeats this cycle 5 times, then stays on permanently.

Can anyone tell me what this means? Is it safe to drive?

It's a 2002 Jaguar XK8 4.0 Coupe.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks Jim,

Code pointed to passenger seat and I just had a look under there with a torch and one of the multi-plugs had come loose, so I pressed it back together and that seems to have fixed it!

Turned off and on 3-4 times and the light now goes out as it should. It must have been knocked loose over time by potholes etc.
