Airbag Warning Light Codes

Airbag Warning Light Codes
Help! Can someone give me a link on this? I've conducted several searches on the forum, and looked through the "stickies" trying to find out the meaning of my airbag warning light code (4-2 or 2-4). The car sat for a few weeks while I installed a new grille. Took it out for the first time today and got the above code. I'm wondering if there's sensor in or around the grille opening that I might have damaged or dislodged.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks Steve; just what I was looking for.
The code seems to point to a bad/loose connection on one of the front impact sensors. As I said in my original post, my grille replacement project likely contributed to this situation, and that's what it looks like it's turning out to be. I don't recall what the sensor looks like, or its exact location. Is it accessible through either the front wheel well, the grille opening, or will I have to take the nose off the car again (shudder!)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I've been able to learn from past posts is that the impact sensors are two boxes mounted on the frame between the radiator and grille. It might be as simple a solution as then being loose on their mount or a bad connection at the sensor. I also read the warnings about disconnecting the negative battery cable before working on them (although I neglected to do that when I replaced the grille). In any case, hopefully the solution will be simple (it's a Jag; nothing is simple!).

Thanks for everyone's help. As predicted, there was a cut wire to the impact sensor on the driver's side, probably from grinding away the rivets on the original bumpers. I didn't want to take the nose off again, so it was an interesting three hours repairing the damage. No more flashing airbag light (so far).
