Please provide the actual code. The generic readers often give misleading explanations.

P1111 - Emission Monitors Complete.
.
P0171 & P0174 - Both Banks Lean Mixture.
Try checking for Vacuum Leaks and Leaks in Air Intake Tube.
Also Clean MAF Sensor and Electrical Connections to same.

After Repairs you can clear the codes immediately with a Scan Tool or the Codes will clear after one or more Required Driving Cycles.

Air Leaks AFTER the MAF will cause the Lean Mixture Condition.

Only use MAF spray cleaner..do NOT touch the sensors. Take out the two screws, unplug the wire and remove. You will have a plastic device with a sensor inside a tube and a tempurture sensor on the outside of the tube. Spray everything very well with the MAF cleaner, let dry and reassembly.

You are responding to a question posted last July. I would hope he has found the MAF cleaner since then.
What year/model Jag do you have? If you click on the USER CP at the top left of the page you can add that info to your signature.
