I recently purchased a 2001 XKR, which is in reasonable condition, but one of the know issues was that the alarm Fob had stopped working.

I have 2 original fobs that came with the car and one that I have purchased online. I've replaced the batteries in all three and I've managed to get the car in to reprogramming mode, with the headlight flashing method, so the little LED next to the shifter flashes (no noise, but the speaker in the steering column is faulty, but that I know how to replace).

But the car doesn't seem to register any of the fobs I have. Does anyone have any suggestions?
