Been a while due to health reasons, but here is an update.
I finally replaced my leaking AC compressor and Dryer. Charged up the AC system and it's blowing nice and cold.
Doing the AC replacement was not as hard as some have pointed out. The only hard part was removing the two bolts for the lines connected to the rear of the AC compressor. I overcame that by removing the 4 bolts holding the compressor to the engine, and disconnecting the high pressure PS line. This allowed me to use a 1/4 inch ratchet with a long extension, going from behind the motor mount. The outer line was accessed from the top..The only thing left to do is the R&R of the ABS module and hopefully I will just have minor things to attend to.
I am feeling really good about the way things turned out with this car. Keeping my fingers crossed.

'orrible job, & I didn't have the steering rack to fight.

 

LOL. The AC job was done with the car on a pair of jackstands. If I had a lift it would have been a lot easier.
Now I am trying to figure out how to R&R the ABS module without much heartache. Any ideas?
By the way I lied. I still have to replace the left side quarter window regulator but because I wouln't have to be laying on my back to do the job I failed to mention it.
