Another headlight sensor question
I have read a few threads where people have non functioning headlight sensors, but I appear to have the opposite problem. If I turn the headlights onto automatic, they remain on all the time. I have checked that there is nothing obscuring the sensor, and I have adjusted the sensitivity knob on the back of the rear view mirror. The mirror dimming sensor works perfectly.
It's not a major problem, but if there is a simple fix, I would like to get it working. Any thoughts?

By chance do you have the mirror that leaked out the dimming fluid? Mine worked great until the mirror spit up its fluid and has not worked from that time on. Been meaning to mirror out to get the dimming fluid fixed but not sure if that will make my lights work auto again.
I can't remember if the X100 can be programmed for Daytime Running Lamps but that could be your situation. You could also try unplugging the mirror harness connector above the overhead console to see if that turns off the headlamps.

Thanks for the advice. Not aware of any leaks and the dimming works perfectly. Not sure that we have daytime running lamps over here, but I will try the trick of disconnecting the harness.
