Antenna motor Fuse

Antenna motor Fuse
As I use the CD player almost exclusively, I was looking to disable my antenna motor via the fuse. In the owner's manual the fuse is listed as #9, 10 amp fuse in the trunk fuse box. My fuse box does not have the fuses marked on the lid. When I started counting the fuses on the left(Drivers side) there were 13 fuses instead of 12, and the #9 fuse was a 5 amp fuse. Not wanting to arbitrarily start pulling fuses on this "Electric" automobile, I thought I would put it out on the forum first. I presume there is a diagram of all the fuse boxes somewhere??
Also, anyone have an extra trunk fuse box lid with the fuses all listed for sale?

the fuse arrangement changes from year to year, so I can't advise you on which fuse it is.
However, there would be no harm in FIRST pulling a fuse, then turning the ignition on to see if the antenna was affected. You won't need to start the car, just turn the ignition on. In a minute, or less, you will have the right fuse pulled. Less time than it takes to read this post .
the radio stations in my area universally suck, so I'm not loosing any functionality by having my fuse pulled.

I found the fuse by looking very closely at my fuse box. In my car the fuses are numbered on the side of the box, and even though the fuse is listed as a #9 10 amp fuse, it was in the #9 position, but a 5 amp fuse. CD now plays happily along with the antenna securely in the lowered position. I will raise it to clean and lube it for later use when I need it for some of the local poorly programed FM stations.
