I took mine off and kept it in the boot figured I would use the excuse that it came off when I pulled out of a parking space.

Got pulled over..........Nailed me with a $109.00 fine along with a $200.00 speeding ticket so I put it back on when I got home.

Got creative though. Bent it so just the numbers show and mounted it in the spoiler below the grille...........

As for the officer .....he probably drives a Pinto.

I'm still waiting on my standard issue plates to come in through the dealer! Though as soon as they do, I'm returning them at the office to slap on the vanity plates off my Porsche...

Another non Jag but IT related, I'm a Novell engineer for those of you that remember it, and I had a Jeep Grande Cherokee V8 with the plate N5 CNE. It caused raised eyebrows when I visited the UK head office. (translation! Novell 5 Certified Netware Engineer)

It's a recognizable part of my last name, and was also my father's plate on his sports car (a 1978 Mazda RX7). He now lives out of state, so I took his plate!
