So, you would have to open the trunk, deploy the hard top, then close the trunk. I know it sounds easy in theory, but the logistics and mechanics will be difficult to work out. nobody expects this next week, just get something started and let us help you. I can draw in CAD...others may have more mechanical engineering skill, some electrical...just need to start somewhere.
Here's the Mina one (pic). They just raised it from $400.00 to about $700.00 plus shipping. I built a form that fits in the leather OEM to even the sides up but have been considering doing either a Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber. One the mold is made,it should be able to sell for way under $700 and still make a profit. Just don't know how much market is out there. I posted a thread on the subject,but so far am just getting heat from the same ilk who hated the race car. This obviously is not Auto and that would probably not be marketable due to cost. Mina's is 2 piece and fits in the trunk. I'mm sure with the talent here a good alternative could be designed and built.
