Should give 7% increase in gearing ...if you tried it did it affect fuel consumption? 27 in dia to 29 in dia 749rpm down to 696rev per mile

Still pushing the same lump around so unlikely to change fuel consumption by any amount that matters (though anyone with fuel consumption thoughts maybe should change car!!).

6speed transmission is 14 % higher geared than the 5 speed so anyone see a fuel consumption advantage with the 6 speed.
On reflection this may affect the tractiion control with front and rear wheels a different speeds so going for standard.
