Default Arden rear mufflers and tailpipes

I finally got around to taking a picture of my muffler mod with the tailpipes

Man those things look HUGE - like a couple potato gun ports out the stern...were you using a fisheye lens by chance (objects in mirror are closer than they appear!!)

thanks for posting, I was thinking of making this mod but personally don't like how far they seem to extend from the underbelly. I am looking for something a bit more subtle. that is one mans opinion, congrats on the add!

Muffler mod - you went for the whole $2k+ system and it's not just the tailpipes?

Did you install the rear pipes or the full Arden system? I have the full system including catalysts. The sound is fantastic.

They are made to fit with the Arden rear bumper skirt...

I suppose you could shorten the pipe from the rear muffler a bit to better fit the stock cutout.

Here's how they look on my car with the full Arden Aero kit.

I agree the sound of the system is intoxicating. Not obnoxious or droning..

And for those who want a reference as to size... Next to my stock 01 Xk8

It was just a normal lens. They are big

They replaced the rear muufflers and pipes. Came in just after going over the rear diff
