argentina , xjr vs xkr sound of the engine

I have a 98 Jaguar XJR 2000 Jaguar XKR convertible, the sound of the engines are different, more noisy XKR from the cab, it is normal or problem, the XKR feels cold breath from compressor or engine exhaust.
