Default Audio Buffs: How good are the Premium Sound tweeters?

I'm slowly working on an audio upgrade for the ol' cat and I've come across an interesting offer. My car has the factory Alpine "Premium" sound and my plan, as of now, is to simply replace the rears with the popular Kicker subs, and the fronts with a Polk component system. I was considering the Polk db6501 component set with the tweeters in the dash and the woofers in the doors with no crossovers running off the stock head unit. This seems to be a fairly popular and affordable option. I recently stumbled on a deal for a Polk DXi6500 component set...but just the woofers (no tweeters or crossovers included) for a steal. How would it sound with these woofers along with the factory tweeters in the dash and super tweeters in the doors? Would it be decent, or should I just spend a bit more and go with my original plan to run the db6501 component set. The DXi6500 is a better set, but would the Alpine tweets sound decent with these woofers?

Go with the original plan. At the end it is all pocket money anyway.

Lateron you can think about sticking a sound processor in.
I am running with an Alpine h660 imprint system and it is awesome. Then you do not want to rely on your oiginal tweeters anymore
