Automatic headlight question.

I fixed my intermittent AUTO headlights last week by replacing the inside mirror. Is there a delay I can set somewhere? They turn off the second I shut the car off, normal?

My AUTO headlights (2001 XKR) operate in exactly the same way, so I'm going to assume that it is normal.

key fob has a headlight button. I believe if you push the button headlights will come on. Not sure if there is a timer to turn them off or if the button has to be pushed again.
