Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the "hidden" valve stems on my 20inch Persang wheels? Thinking of having the capability to add remote tire pressure monitors if I replace the original BBS inserts with metal valve stems.

Today alone, I've read three posts in other model forums about malfunctioning TPM systems. I hope aftermarket ones are better than the Jaguar OE.

I had BBS wheels on my XJ and my bet would bet no you cannot do that. The valve stems on mine were doubling as one of the bolts in the multi piece wheel.

 

I have BBS 20" Montreal" Wheels which as the "Detroit" and most of the other Wheels they make for Jaguar have the this type of Valve Stem system....I still have the little Pouch that the replacement stems came in and it's full of replacement parts! When I discovered that the Tire Guys had either "Forgot" to give it back or had broken one, I got busy and found a Supplier....For all BBS Hardware, I found "First Impressions" in Atlanta, GA. They've got it all.....Center Caps, Wrenches, Valve stems and those little Valve Caps....Call Dave @ 770-623-0298 email davelaf@bellsouth.net Stock-up, I did!

Also, in Scotland DCR Auto Parts has all this stuff! Lug Nuts, Wheels, Wheel Caps, BBS Hardware.....You name it, they've got it or can get it! email: enquires@dcrautoparts.com They've even got those Clear Marker Lens and Bulbs....Seems that there are still a number on places still selling XK stuff! This is where I got my new Lug Nuts and Locker's for my XKR.
