Nice ride. The newer wheels really help make it look more up to date.

Nice the wheels do make a differance. Is it an optical illusion or do you just have one seat?

Does look like that Jandreu, but the madam goes were ever the car goes. She now wants a coupe of her own.
Thanks all for the positive comments, all the work was worth while and I also see that with the red shirt, that the calipers should also be red. Back to work.

Dave, I still feel bad about that, but don't regret I ended up with them.
When are you coming down to do your tensioners. I found them for about $125 with the four bolts from a Ford dealer and of course you need the Fel-Pro gasket kit for $40. Not bad and if you bring your own zip ties, it will save you $25, just kidding.

As soon as I can afford it. Being on disability really sucks and $900/month mortgage payments makes it even more fun when its more than half my income. I bought this car when my '87 Alfa got totaled when an unlicensed teen hit me and it was 100% her fault. That was in May and I had to hire a lawyer to go after the insurance company and they haven't settled yet. So I am kind of in a bind until then. A dealer replaced the right hand side primary and secondary tensioners in Feb 2002 at 57k miles but don't know if they used the updated ones or not. May get lucky and only have to do one side. Also, the '97 uses a different gasket set that isn't the same as any Ford equivalent and they always seemed priced around $100. I was going to cheat and try reusing the old ones if they are in usable shape and just replace the spark plug hole grommets.

Dave
I changed the secondary tensioners last year and reused the the complete
gaskets with no problems.
