Well, the bad fuel pump problem has hit my my car. I was out and about..came back to get in my car and no start. Had it towed to the house. I have gone thru the whole"car wont start" postings and there is absolutely no fuel at the schroder valve....so it is 99.9 percent the fuel pump.

Where have members from the past gotten their replacement fuel pumps...I am not going to pay for nor get one from the dealer!

Any suggestions from those who have already done this job would be helpful.

I talked to the jaq repair place in Oregon referenced on the forum....they mentioned gettign a walbro pump.....i have found them on ebay for 126.00 with pump, screen, hoses, clamps everything needed...are these good pumps??

What year is your car? I was recently looking for a fuel pump and learned that their's a difference between the pre-2003 pumps and the 2003+ pumps. The pre-2003 pumps are easy to find. I couldn't find one for my 2003 MY anywhere but the dealer. Nalley Jaguar had the best deal for 2003 pumps. It was about $425 with the jaguarforums discount.
